There is nothing that compares to a day at a Girl Scout camp! Once a year troops from all over Lake Zurich gather at Mary Ann Beebe Center, a local Girl Scout campground owned by Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois. Girls can zipline across the fishing pond, climb to new heights while cratestacking, find the perfect aim on the archery, air rifle, slingshot or tomahawk ranges or hike the trails through camp. Troops work on outdoor themed badgework, cook over a campfire and some stay the night in tents or the campground facilities. Camping as a troop is a Girl Scout tradition, but Camporee is extra fun as you are enjoying camp with Girl Scout sisters from all over Lake Zurich!
