The Girl Scout World Thinking Day Award is a wonderful way to connect with Girl Scouts and Girl Guides around the world on a topic that can inspire big change! We are thrilled to be providing an online platform for your troops to complete their World Thinking Day award this year; the 2021 topic of Peacebuilding is timely and so important to girls today.
Leaders, these online award platforms are intended to help you walk your troop through the award requirements and through writing their own peace pledges. You may want to take a moment before your troop’s World Thinking Day meeting or celebration to review the steps your troop will be completing. We have done our best to require minimal supplies and easy technology platforms, but if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact Laura Rogers at lzsu646manager@gmail.com. You can expect that completing these award activities will take at least an hour, depending on the conversations your troop takes on while learning about such an interesting topic.
