Come join our Lake Zurich leaders and troop volunteers!
Every month our service unit holds meetings to help connect our leaders and troop volunteers. We love this opportunity to pass along information about upcoming service unit events, get feedback on Girl Scout events and resources in our area, learn from fellow leaders, and provide support to each other. We strive to provide at least one service unit level event per month for our troops to participate in, so those meetings are a great opportunity to plan and ‘advertise’ upcoming events! Our GSNI council representative often attends as well to give us updates on plans and opportunities available in our council. This is a great resource for our Lake Zurich volunteers and we are often inspired by each other’s experiences!
We know that adding one more meeting to your already busy schedule is tough, especially when you need to find a sitter for your children. We welcome children to attend our in person meetings and provide a service project and activities to keep them entertained while you participate.
There are only 9 service meetings each year; please make sure that your troop has a representative in attendance so you don’t miss the fun!
